Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev assumed that the spokesman of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg unintentionally acknowledged the alliance was at war with Moscow.

Reuter reported Mr. Medvedev said that, Mr. Stoltenberg on October 11, had inadvertently acknowledged that the NATO military alliance was at war with Moscow. Accordingly, Stoltenberg announced yesterday that Russia’s military victory in Ukraine would be considered a defeat for NATO.

Mr. Medvedev called the NATO leader’s comment “an open confirmation of the alliance’s participation in the war against Russia – an unwise but but pure-hearted remark”. “The honest Norwegian fellow has finally admitted to it.” Medvedev said.

Mr. Stoltenberg, former Prime Minister of Norway, commented during a press conference as NATO ministers prepare to meet Ukraine’s Defense Minister Aleksey Reznikov on October 12. The alliance will discuss how to respond to Ukraine’s urgent need in response to Russia’s seven-month-long military campaign.

On the issue of aid to Ukraine, Stoltenberg said: “There is an urgent need for air defense systems, but of course there are also many other needs such as precision-guided amunitions; HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems and other other advanced and modern systems according to NATO standards.” He affirmed that NATO provides unprecedented aid to Ukraine to ensure Kiev’s victory in the confrontation with Russia.

Mr. Medvedev warned that the West’s sending more modern weapons to Ukraine would increase the risk of conflict breaking out on a broader scale. “The fastest way to bring the conflict in Ukraine to the point of no return is to equip Kiev with longer-range multiple launch rocket systems,” the Russian official said, urging NATO leaders to think carefully about the issue.

Meanwhile MrStoltenberg insists that the alliance is not party to the conflict, but our support is playing a key role. Allies remain united in their support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and self-defense.”

“The most important thing for all of us is that Ukraine will win the war against Russia because if Moscow wins, it will be not only a massive defeat for the Ukrainians but also a defeat and a danger for all of us,” Mr Stoltenberg said.

In another action, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on October 11 that Moscow has evidence that the US soldiers and some Western countries appear to have been on Ukrainian territory during the conflict against Russia.  Minister of Foreign Affairs

“Soldiers of the US military, as well as the troops of several European countries, are operating in the field, including assisting in the calculation of gun combinations, HIMARS multiple launch fire systems to help Ukraine use, “Mr. Lavrov alleged.

However, the Russian diplomat emphasized that Moscow currently has no evidence to confirm the accusations with 100% accuracy. Even so, he said that Russia is starting to notice such evidence. The West may begin to realize they are going further in Ukraine than they originally planned, he said.
